In the beginning of Absheron Peninsula tour you will visit Ateshgah Temple (Fire Temple) – The Ateshgah temple is located in the south-eastern part of the Surakhani settlement of the Absheron peninsula, 30 km away from Baku. So, Ateshgah is a fire temple. And built in the 17th-18th century in the place of the eternal flames of natural gas. Additionally, The earliest building of the temple belongs to the 1713 year. And the central temple was built in 1810 by merchant Kanchanagara funds. So, It was sanctified by Zoroastrians, Hindus, and Sikhs at different times.

On the other hand, The Baku Ateshgah was a pilgrimage and philosophical center of Zoroastrians from the Northwestern Indian Subcontinent, who were involved in trade with the Caspian area via the famous "Grand Trunk Road" . Most importantly, The four holy elements of their belief were: ateshi (fire), Badi (air), abi (water), and heki (earth). And the temple ceased to be a place of worship after 1883 with the installation of petroleum plants (industry) at Surakhany. In addition, The complex was turned into a museum in 1975.

Then during Absheron Peninsula tour you will visit Yanardagh (Fire Mountain) – This natural burning flame became as a result of the emergence of natural gas at the foot of the mountain. Additionally, It is located in the Absheron Peninsula near Baku, on the shores of the Caspian Sea, in the territory of Mohammedi village. The history of this monument is unknown.
